Trying New Skin Care Products: What I used + How I feel about them

Hello Everyone! Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you guys have been having a good week so far. If you have been following my journey, you know that I have been using the Acne.org regimen as skincare for some years now. I ran out of my regimen while I was in Nigeria and started using some new products. I was really nervous about trying something new but since I had no choice, I had to buy the best products available and have some faith in them. Today, I will be telling you guys about the products I used and how I feel about them. I tried these products for about two months and I am currently back on my Acne.org regimen so, I have had time to reflect on them and decide on which products that I will be permanently incorporating into my skincare routine. So, grab a cup of coffee, tea, wine or water and let's begin.

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Face Wash

Overall, I will say that I enjoyed using this face wash but I will not be incorporating it into my skincare routine. It felt good and it was gentle on my skin but it was not groundbreaking for me. Although it did not help my skin and did not harm it either, I will say that this face wash did the best that it could. It was just not for my skin type; I have oily/combination skin and my skin is acne prone and I noticed that I got a lot more acne when I stopped using my Acne.org regimen and started using this face wash but it was not anything that I could not control. Sure, I had more acne but it was nothing like three years ago (before I started using Acne.org). This face wash is just not aggressive enough for my skin but if you have naturally flawless skin then this may work.

Glam Glow Supermud Mask

I loveeeee this mask and will be using it as often as possible. This mask was what saved me during my breakout episodes. Whenever my face was acting up, I would use this mask at night and it made a huge difference the next morning. My skin felt so soft immediately after and by the next morning, my pimples were gone except for the stubborn ones which reduced in size a lot (they were not as swollen as before). It was a very good purchase and I will be incorporating it into my skincare routine.

Illuminating Moisturizer

This moisturizer is another product that I really loved. My favorite thing about it is that it made my skin glow all day. It added moisture to my skin and It did not feel oily at all. Sometimes I would put highlighter on my cheeks when I felt like glowing but ever since I started using this moisturizer, I have not done that at all. The moisturizer does it all for me. It is not sticky or oily, it adds the right amount of moisture, and I glow when I wear it. It is perfect!! and I will also be incorporating this into my skincare routine.

Tea Tree Oil

Lastly, you guys know how I rave about tea tree oil all the time. I started using this product before I started using the ones above and ever since I picked it up, I have not been able to drop it. I do not wear it everyday; I use it to spot treat when I do not have time for a mask. I pop my pimple (when it is ready) and use a cotton bud to apply the tea tree oil on the wound or if I see and feel a pimple appearing, I apply it the same way immediately and by the next day, the pimple is gone and there is absolutely no sign of it (no marks left). It works like magic. Although it is oil, It dries out the pimples and shrinks it extensively. It is a great addition to my daily skin and body care routine
